Delight African Carvings was formed in 2005 and is based in the United States.
We deal with African Handicrafts imported mainly from Kenya and our business
is family owned and operated. The owners were born, raised, educated and
worked in a town called Mombasa in Kenya before moving to the USA three
years ago. We work hand in hand with the craftsmen, producer groups and
various organizations that support Fair Trade thus enabling us to bring
unique and beautiful crafts to our customers.
We are proud to bring you Kenyan art for your joy and benefit of all the
Kenyan artisans. All of our products are hand carved by various artisans
with great skills that have been passed to them from generation to generation
and are therefore of very high quality.
These products also depict our rich African culture, heritage, history as
well as wildlife. Our handicrafts serve as beautiful home décor, office
use, gifts and others for purely decorative purpose and even collectables.
In our product portfolio you will find Woodcarvings such as masks, animals,
figurines, wall decor and kitchen items; Jewelry such as earrings, hairclips,
bracelets, chokers, key rings and necklaces; African Clothing such as Kikoys
and T-shirt and Baskets.
Our main goal and purpose is to offer income-generating opportunities to
the artisans. Working hand in hand with these artisans enables us to help
them improve their lives plus achieve their future goals.
